I can’t really think of a blog post title that would suit the nail polish colors that I chose when I had my nails done at St. Nails. This just popped out my mind considering the shade names of the polishes I picked. Haha! 😛
I have been wanting to try a blue polish shade for a long time already. So, when I visited St. Nails last Friday, I browsed over their available blue shades in their nail wheels. Two blue shades immediately caught my eye. These are the Orly Angel Rain and Orly Angel Eyes polishes. So angelic, isn’t it? Haha!
Since I wanted to try both shades, I had my nail artist do an Odd One Out style on my nails. 😀
My eldest daughter turned one year old last year (February 2013). My husband and I arranged a party for her in which I chose Minnie Mouse as the birthday theme. Since February 2014 is about to end, I decided to have a little bit of look back at that event… through my nails. Haha! I had my Minnie Mouse nails done at Beauty & Butter. 😀
Red and pink are the most common colors during Valentine’s Day. Pink is even my favorite color. It is just that I don’t know why I don’t feel like wearing pink nails this coming Valentine’s Day. It feels so common that I want to veer away from it.
When I was choosing my nail polish shade at St. Nails, I was torn between going for a dark gray color or a nude one. In the end, I chose a nude shade since I wanted to make my nails look simple yet still sweet which could be perfect for a date night. 😉
I got the Orly Sand Castle. 😀
Simple? Yup! Sweet? Yup! Did I like it? Nope. I looove it!!! 😀
I have already read about Beauty & Butter from several beauty blogs but I have not tried having my nails done there yet. Luckily, they opened a new branch at SM Jazz – Makati which is near my workplace. So, yup, I went there to have a manicure! 😀
I super like the nail salon’s cute interiors. Its colorful walls and seats make the whole space so hippy-looking. Also, you can get to watch a movie for free during your stay. 😉
Beauty & Butter has a wide range of polish selections. I seriously had a hard time choosing! Haha! 😛
They even have a thick portfolio of nail art. I would definitely try them on my next visits… 😀
For now, I just went for a simple yet very festive-looking manicure that is still perfect for the holiday season. I chose the Ruby Wing Sunflower polish. 😀
No matter how much you love colors on your fingers, eventually you will need to remove it due to some chipped off polish. When my nail polish gets chipped off, I get so embarrassed that I tend to hide my hands so that people won’t notice my nails. Here are examples…
To prevent that kind of embarrassing moment, you should rely on a good nail polish remover that would effectively remove your nail polish and at the same time, won’t dry out your skin and nails. A good product that I could recommend? Go for Tony Moly Pure & Clear Nail Enamel Remover. 😀
