Review: Etude House Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream

I prefer using a cleansing oil to remove my makeup. I even tried looking for one when I happen to pass by an Etude House store in Greenbelt. However, the saleslady told me that they don’t have a cleansing oil. Instead, they have a cleansing cream. It is an opportunity for me to try another variant of a makeup remover. Thus, I bought the Etude House Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream in Aloe Tea.

Product Description (printed on the packaging cover of the product):

Cleansing Cream’s creamy texture contains Aloe extract to remove dirt and makeup while keeping skin moisturized with the pleasant fragrance of tea.

Product Description (taken from the Etude House website):

Washable makeup removal cream has light texture with low oil content for women in their 20’s-30’s. Smooth spreadable texture ideal for facial massage for women 40+

Here is the cleansing cream. It is just plain creamy white and has a nice scent of tea. 😉

It is a matter of your own preference as to how much of the product you want to use. As for me, I use just use this much… 🙂

That is already enough to remove all of my makeup, even waterproof ones – mascara, foundation, lipstick, etc. Amazing! 😀 Though, based on my experience, I would not recommend this if you will use heavy eye makeup. It cannot thoroughly remove dark eyeshadow colors and gel eyeliners. Other than that, this product is a good makeup remover. 😉

This cleansing cream is being sold at an affordable price of only Php198. Aside from Aloe Tea, the Etude House Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream is also available in Lemon Tea and Milk Tea variants.

LIKES:

  • affordable
  • has a nice tea scent
  • can remove even waterproof makeup

NEUTRAL TAKE:

  • I recommend that you still use a cleansing oil if you will use a heavy eye makeup.

DISLIKES:

None. 😀
