This is the second time that I was able to try makeup remover wipes from Nivea. The first one that I tried was the Nivea 3-in-1 Daily Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Wipes. This time, I am going to give a review for the Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes which I got from my May 2015 BDJ Box: Kiss Dry Goodbye!

Upon lifting the flap, the mild scent of the wipes is already noticeable. It smells nice but, given that this is said to be suitable for sensitive skin, this might be better if it is unscented. This is because those with sensitive skin might have some issues using products that are scented.

This is actually my second time to use My Choice products since I also got products from the said brand in a previous BDJ Box. These were the My Choice Carrot Spa Salt and the My Choice Carrot Hand and Body Lotion. This time, I will give the review for the Goat Milk variant.

So far, this is the most unique bar soap that I have ever tried. As you can see, there are white chunks inside the bar soap. I am assuming these are chunks of goat milk.
This plastic container has also been used to mold the soap along with the goat milk chunks in it. This is to ensure that the chunks would stay in place.
I was never a fan of contouring. I tried doing it but I still think that it is not for me. Well, I just found out that there is a new (but not really that new) makeup trend which I like more. It is called “strobing” .
“Strobing? What is that?”
Strobing is the opposite of contouring. Instead of using dark shades of makeup to sculpt your face, you use shimmery products to illuminate your features and give you a natural glow. To make it easier for you, it is the same as highlighting. However, with strobing, it gives the look of having luminous skin that comes from within. This makeup technique makes you look more youthful and radiant.

I have been using Safeguard bar soaps since I was a kid and even until now. It is our top brand in choosing which bar soap to buy whenever we do our grocery shopping. When I found out that Safeguard has released their Derma Sense product line along with body washes and facial cleansers, I knew that they would be good. Well, I was right. These products are getting good reviews online. 😀
I have tried the Safeguard Derma Sense Gently Cleanses Sensitive Skin Facial Cleanser which I got from Sample Room. By the way, the large Sample Room paper bag now have the nice printed art just like their small ones. Cute! 😉
I am lucky I was still able to get a sample of this product from Sample Room. When they initially had this in their website, I was not able to get one since a lot of people got way ahead of me until I got the “In Stock: 0“ status. They got restocked one day and, finally, I got mine!!! Yey! 😀

Since I love blushes, I got so excited when I saw the FS Cosmetics Powder Blush in Warm Chiffon in my May 2015 BDJ Box: Kiss Dry Goodbye! Another blush to try out!!! 😀

Given that this is a blush, I would love to see the shade from the outside. If it has a transparent top cover, it would be better. Mirror dilemma? It could be placed underneath the powder where you flip it up to see the mirror.
When I saw the shade name, I thought that Warm Chiffon would be a rosy type of color. Well, it’s not. Upon opening the compact, I saw that the color is a medium, skin-toned like shade. I immediately thought that this would not work well as a blush. It can work for contouring.
With that, I think that blushes should have shades that could really be used as a blush. For me, it is kind of confusing to see blush shades that should rather be used as a contour powder.
The compact also includes a brush inside. Since this is intended to be used as a blush, I think that this is fine. However, given that the shade is not so much for that purpose, I cannot use this. I will rather go for the usual contour brushes.
Just like how we ended up getting our own Tomato wallets, it was almost the same story with that of our bow sandals from Aly’s Wonderland. Haha! 😛 My friend (Caryl) saw this post in alyswonderland888’s instagram account.
She suggested that the three of us (including our other friend, Ela) get our own pairs in black color. This time, I really insisted that we get our own pairs in different colors. Oh my! It was the same chaotic and headaching discussion. *Yup, friends can get so crazy…* In the end, I won! Haha! Yey! 😛
